About Amanda

Amanda Graeff is an American actress best known for starring alongside Michael Ironside in Patient Seven, and her award nominated performance in On Her Lips.

Amanda started acting in the Southern Colorado Repertory Theater (SCRT) while still in elementary school. Her talents immediately apparent, she was awarded scholarships to attend SCRT classes until she started high school. Her performances there earned her a full ride scholarship to Trinidad State College, where she majored in drama. Aside from acting, Amanda enthusiastically participated in every aspect of theater, art, and music. Encouraged by supportive professors to audition for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA-LA) in Los Angeles, Amanda impressed the recruiters so much that they offered her multiple scholarships to attend. When she wasn't acting at AADA-LA, she worked in the costume and prop departments, exploring as many creative outlets as she could.

Following graduation, Amanda acted in dozens of student films, independent short films, music videos, and feature films. Though her true passion was acting, she always leapt at the chance to put her artistic skills to use on the projects she was involved with. She art directed, set decorated, made costumes, created and managed props, outsourced makeup artists, assistant directed, and much more on a variety of sets. Amanda learned she loved every part of making and putting a film together all the way through to completion.

As Amanda began to focus on creating her own projects, she was again offered an AADA scholarship, this time for their campus in New York City. Fulfilling her lifelong dream of studying acting in the theater capital of the US, she honed her talents in a rigorous program focussed on the modern realities and skills required of working actors.

Working wherever her projects take her, Amanda continues to act in films, perform in plays, and create her own content. Her most recent collaboration as story partner with writer/director Phil Mucci, Season of the Bitch, a feature screenplay inspired in part by her dynamic personality, recently won the Final Draft / Big Break Screenwriting Contest (2019).
