What did we learn?

What did I learn and how can I be better to everyone around me and myself from working this job?

I love movies.  I love every part of it.

It was the most work I think I've ever done for a film haha!

The Greens Department is amazing and the hard working people in that department are also amazing and creative!

It reminds me that everything I've learned through hard work has a beautiful place and contributes to greater things in the world.

I had my share of annoyances and turbulence with people around me.  Turbulence of which I'm still in the waves of and has sparked the beginning of the end of my Denver commercial work.

Still Totally WORTH IT!

I learned a lot in regards to recreating exterior set dressing in ways I hadn't considered before!  Andrew Nowling is awesome!  Some people I feel like I've always known and I adore them, Andrew is one of those people and how amazing of him to offer me the opportunity to work on his crew!  This was a wonderful experience & opportunity.

Normally I love being on set, but I learned a lot from not being on set the whole time.  Being apart of the build and seeing the construction around me. I saw enough of the shooting days.  Being a part of the process to make each scene come to life and put them back afterwords.  The greens team planted a tree for each place we shot at and took debris from.

One of the things I learned growing up was "When you borrow something return it in better condition than you recived it."  The Greens department went above and beyond the help the areas we interrupted to shoot the movie and areas that were affected by twisters.  Good people taking care of people around them.

1. I learned to appreciate yard work more

2. Don't take anything too personally - Don't take life too seriouesly

3. Always be authentic to myself - if you need a siesta take one during the break!

4. Treasure a goodbye - exit gracefully & enter gracefully

5. Set dressing with gravel, dirt, painting plants, so many cool little things to try in future projects!

6. Learn from all the amazing artists around me!  Say hello and good morning!  Genuine connection is important to the soul and learn from the beautiful people around us always!  Even if it's in patience.
